As Global Director of Reefer Logistics and Perishable Cargo at Kuehne & Nagel AG since July 2005, Frank Ganse oversees some 150 operational reefer staff worldwide providing specialist logistics and transport services for perishable cargo shippers.

Having initially gained his professional training as a forwarding merchant with Kuehne & Nagel from 1988-1990,Mr. Ganse rejoined the Kuehne & Nagel organisation in 1999. He initially worked as Product Manager Reefer/Perishables within Germany and then moved on to a broader European development role for reefer and perishable activities, before assuming his current global remit. The global position reports directly to Kuehne & Nagel’s worldwide maritime freight management.

Prior to this, Mr. Ganse worked as Head of Purchasing for Hussmann & Hahn Seafood GmbH & Co., based in Cuxhaven, and before that as Group Leader in the production planning department with Frozen Fish International GmbH, in Bremerhaven (formerly NORDSEE GmbH), part of the Unilever Group.

Mr. Ganse holds a degree in transport industrial engineering from the University of Bremerhaven.
