Frank Franke is a journalist and author and the Founder of Wings of Help/ Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen e. V. He is also the founder of the organization "Journalists and Friends". He has many years of experience in aid projects worldwide, including Pakistan (earthquake and current flooding disaster), Haiti, Banda Ache, Tschernobyl, Turkey, South Africa and Peru.

He is the author of several books, like "Himmel ohne Grenzen" (The Sky is the limit), "Die vergessenen Kinder von Tschernobyl" (The Forgotten Children of Tschernobyl), “Welt der Ballone" (World of Ballons), "Fahren mit dem Erdwind".

Frank is an internationally recognised photographer having exhibited in Germany, Austria, Russia and Australia.
He is honored with the Bundesverdienstkreuz (Federal Cross of Merit.
