Sean Maguire is the founder and CEO of Port Solutions Inc., a provider of advanced wireless telemetry services to the asset management, container ports, and shipping industry. Sean is a seasoned technology professional with over 15 years of experience in hardware design, business development, IT application and product development in both established and start-up companies.

He is experienced in assisting shipping lines and port operators in finding technology solutions for track, trace, and monitor type problems on containers, vehicles, and equipment using GPS, wireless, RF, satellite, and RFID technologies.  

Mr. Maguire holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity University Dublin Ireland as well as diplomas in Mechanical and Process Engineering. He also holds three international design patents and has 5 others in process. 

In recent years, Mr Maguire has consulted for a leading wireless hardware vendor and led what has become the largest single deployment of GPS tracking hardware on gensets for a major shipping line. Presently he is also engaged with Mark-It Services Inc to develop and deploy the industries first commercially viable remote wireless reefer monitoring and control solution.
