Steve Cameron trained as a deck officer in reefer vessels, transferring ashore to the cargo division of Cunard Steam Ship. He was then part of a founding management team that over 20 years developed a specialist operator into one of the leading players in West Africa. Now principal of Cameron Maritime Resources (CMR), Mr. Cameron uses his business development experience to provide market research, marketing and PR consultancy, executive recruiting, management and purchase strategy coaching and training for directors, managers and graduates in the maritime industry and developing world countries. CMR also provides African country briefings for executives and embassy staff. Mr. Cameron is a member of Chamber of Shipping, International Chamber of Shipping, Chairman of the UK container panel at the UK Ports and Terminal Group, Chairman of Training at the Ports and Maritime Consulting Group (PMCG), Director of the West Africa Business Association and a Member of the Royal African Society.  |
