Ulises Carrillo, Vice President Global Logistics, Dole Food Company Inc

Ulises J. Carrillo is Vice President, Global Logistics for Dole Food Company headquartered in Westlake Village, California. He is responsible for defining, establishing, and articulating the corporate vision to maximize Dole’s logistics services and assets around the world. In this capacity, one of his primary roles is to seek, identify, and implement cross-divisional initiatives to exploit the company’s global synergies in the logistics area. Additionally, he manages the procurement of logistics-related capital assets and capital approvals.

Founded in Hawaii in 1851, Dole Food Company, Inc., with 2009 net revenues of $6.8 billion, is the world's largest producer and marketer of high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables, the leading producer of organic bananas, and has a growing line of packaged foods. The Company does business in more than 90 countries and employs, on average, 36,000 full-time employees and 23,000 full-time seasonal or temporary employees, worldwide.
 
A native of Nicaragua, Mr. Carrillo earned a BS in Computer Science from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Prior to joining Dole in 2001, he had a number of operational and supply chain assignments with Fresh Del Monte, Canadian Pacific Ships, and United States Lines.
